I-MSE 2025 Free Webinar Series begins January 9

REGISTER today to reserve your place for learning more about facilitating multi-sensory environments. The topic for the first webinar in the 2025 series being offered by the Institute of Multi-Sensory Environments is Creating a sensory-rich storytime experience, and will be presented by Anthony M. McCrovitz, PhD., LMHC, HSPP, BCPC, IMH-E® (II), DAPA, who is a consultant, mentor, and provider of training and support with a Quality-of-Life Model™ of services, based on the relationship-building, person-centered philosophy of Gentle Teaching.

He is a licensed mental health counselor and psychologist, with clinical training and specialization in child development and the integration of approaches that are rooted in holistic, bio-psychosocial models. His work revolves around mentoring and advocating for individuals with disabilities and others in overcoming cultural and/or community barriers, creating plans, solutions, and support services to improve their overall quality of life.

Dr. McCrovitz is an active board member of the Gentle Teaching International community, the International Snoezelen-MSE Association (ISNA-MSE.org), and the Institute of Multi-Sensory Environments (I-MSE.org), presenting internationally on topics connecting neuroscience and sensory integration to facilitate inclusive learning for all, creating sustainable outcomes with quality of life solutions.

The Institute of Multi-Sensory Environments (I-MSE) is developing resources, training, and consulting for universal applications and processes for quality-of-life outcomes in multi-sensory environments. Their mission is to provide worldwide access to valuable resources for parents and anyone whose profession engages in fields of human services and education.

Members of the I-MSE team are presenting a webinar series of introductory topics that will focus on aspects of multi-sensory environments. They are dedicated to sharing their knowledge, skills, and applications to benefit facilitators in developing competence, and to benefit Individuals in experiential learning that cultivates social-emotional learning and growth.

Each presentation will conclude with an invitation for attendees to share specific challenges, ask questions, and further discuss the topic.

PRESENTER of this MSE introductory session is Eleonora Magri, MA, BCBA, whose basic training as a behavior analyst has evolved to integrating relationship-building approaches and enriching, multi-sensory environments.

She has practiced extensively in California, her dedicated work and services having the aim of finding answers and solutions for the daily struggle of those often marginalized and labeled by medical models.

She currently lives and in Spain with her husband and their three daughters, continuing her practice and cultivation of inclusion. She says “this lens of unconditional love and genuine compassion is inclusion.” 

She is the founder of INCLUSI, a global community with an APP for the purpose of cultivating inclusion with its mission to provide resources, training, and support, improve the quality of life and allow their stories to be heard.

PRESENTER of this MSE introductory session is KAELA MILLAR, a recreation therapist and the Multi-Sensory Environment technologist at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

She is involved with the Recreation Therapy Program at the Fennel Campus where she supervises students during their field placements.

Kaela has a specialty of working with “therapy dogs” in a multi-sensory environment, and will share some mse success stories with you. She will introduce the concept of therapy dogs and discuss the applications and benefits that a therapy dog can provide within diverse therapeutic settings that focus on engaging interactions and quality of life outcomes.
