Turning the Kaleidoscope: A Transformative View of Quality of Life through Gentle Teaching

Gentle Teaching International Conference – Middelfart, Denmark
September 16–18, 2025
Hindsgavl Slot, Denmark

We are honored to announce that Dr. Anthony M. McCrovitz, Executive Director of the Quality of Life Institute, and Alex Kimmel, Trainer and Self-Determinator, will be presenting at the Gentle Teaching International Conference 2025 in Denmark.

About the Presentation

Title: Turning the Kaleidoscope: A Transformative View of Quality of Life through Gentle Teaching
Date/Time: Tuesday, September 16th, 2025 | 10:50–11:50 AM

Dr. Tony and Alex will co-lead an engaging session that uses the metaphor of a kaleidoscope to explore how relational and personal transformation is possible through Gentle Teaching. Their presentation blends clinical insight, personal storytelling, and the philosophy of Return to Gentleness to highlight how fragmented experiences—especially those shaped by trauma or disconnection—can be restructured into beauty, meaning, and companionship.

Drawing inspiration from the children’s book Gretta and the Kaleidoscope of True Colors, this presentation offers a practical and heartfelt reflection on how core elements of community, belonging, and safety support a higher quality of life—for both caregivers and those they serve.

“In human development, freedom and the genuine feel of self-determination are only concepts until they become developed and differentiated through one’s narrative story. This is a quality of life goal and outcome, produced through reciprocal relationship-building processes that incorporate a framework of Gentle Teaching, where learning and living begin with feeling safe and loved.” ~Dr. Anthony M. McCrovitz, Executive Director
