MSE Certification Course – 2024 Winter Classes at Mohawk College

Mohawk College’s Certified Practitioner of Multi-Sensory Environments (CP-MSE) program was developed to provide learners with a theoretical understanding of Multi-Sensory Environments (MSEs) and is composed of 2 individual micro-credential courses that are combined to obtain the CP-MSE Micro certification. Learners must register for both courses.

  • Certified Practitioner of Multi-Sensory Environments-Experiential- HMNS 10164

 Please note that this micro-credential will not be re-offered until Winter 2025!

Resources that support mental health are valuable, but more important is having access to the right care!

World Mental Health Day invites increased awareness about preventative and successful mental health interventions.

 

Quality of Life Institute is a non-profit organization that sponsors THE CLUBHOUSE AT MILLER BEACH program, a community-based mental health recovery and rehabilitative center that serves local individuals as well as those from surrounding areas. The Institute’s work with The Clubhouse program strives to develop a community-based network of quality services and supports that are accessible and affordable, and that can meet mental healthcare needs for individuals in our community.

Valuing and protecting mental health is a strength for community-building and a benefit for all; for families, workers in education and human services, businesses, and communities at large. The Clubhouse Program includes community-building activities that focus on empowering individuals with mental illness to learn skills, grow in self-awareness, and lead fulfilling lives. Less discrimination and more effective supports and programs invite positive engagement and meaningful participation in our communities.

Together we can make worldwide mental healthcare more of a reality. Please consider working with us to help mobilize efforts in support of mental healthcare for all. With your help and support (volunteering, mentoring, monetary and in-kind donations), we can expand our staff and program resources.

JOIN US for the annual, international conference on MULTI_SENSORY ENVIRONMENTS in Indiana this fall, September 28-29-30 at Valparaiso University!

This is three days of inspiration, connecting with colleagues, and learning from speakers who represent The International MSE Association (ISNA-MSE.org), who will be sharing everything from MSE Boot Camp Basics to designing and setting up an MSE Room or space (indoor or outdoor), for teaching skills and creating meaningful interactions that facilitate experiential learning and quality-of-life outcomes with MSE processes.

For those interested in Continuing Education credits, 6 PGPs/CEUs are offered for each day of the conference, for a total of 18 PGPs/CEUs! Just complete an end of day survey with your request, and certificates will be emailed out during the week following the conference!
